Z32 Vibrations

letter text follows: (no, it's not me; I have no idea who it is - reproduced for info only)

As a club member, I thought I might add one of my recent problem/experiences for the club magazine, which may be useful to someone.

I bought a late '91 300ZX TT Silver (UK car) last September [1999?], which seemed to have a slight vibration between 40 to 55 mph. I did read on the net all about centre bearing problems and believed this may have been the problem. (I did take the rear wheels off to make sure it was not them.) I recently had the prop off and found that both UJs were tight in places. The centre bearing seemed OK, so I took the prop to a specialist given to me by a local ex Nissan engineer. This was XXXXXX

He agreed the bearings were not right and so he replaced both UJ’s which this time came with grease nipples. He also balanced the complete assembly on his special prop machine. Now fitted all is as you would expect, no vibrations at all.

It wasn't that easy for me, oh no...
